Presentation of the actions

Action 1 : Develop the territory's cultural picture.

1.1 Get the local protagonists to become the vehicle of the territory's cultural picture.

      a)  Preparation  by the Trio d’ocrés ( the music school 's communication group of the Puisaye-Forterre area) of the Puisaye and Premyslides touristic sites showing.

The programme will show the most important touristic sites of both countries : French and Czech.

French sites  : Guédelon Castle, Colette Museum, Adventure of the Sound Museum, The Fabuloserie, The Régional Center of Contemporary Art , Ratilly Castle and the Quarry of Aubigny …

Czech sites  :   Castle and Museum Roztoky,  Dvorak of Zlonice Museum,  Okor Castle, Châtau de Veltrusy Castle, introduction of Zdenka Braunerova

The creations will connect either with the music period (ex : Guédelon and XIIIth century music), or the  characters involved (ex : Colette Museum and the writer's songs).

    b) Organizing the concert through the touristic sites.

To enhance the influence of the touristic places and the coherence of the cultural actions of broadcasting, a programme will be drawn up within the touristic sites.

This idea comes from what is being carried out in central Bohemia where in Karlstejn, Krivoklat and Tocnik castles, a 15 minute concert is integrated into the visit.

In Puisaye-Forterre, Ratilly Castle alone has a programme approach combined with its communication strategy.

    c) "PreDivO Festival"

Led by the Premyslides' GAL, this new Czech festival combines theatre, music and streets entertainments. It is held to honor the 700th anniversary of the last Premyslides family member. It takes its bearing on a very strong patrimonial event, as the Czech State ows its birth to this dynasty.

This year, two towns will hold the festival, four stages will be shown. Each year in turn, two new other towns in the Premyslides will hold this festival.

This event has been selected within the cooperation plan to be the amateurs' resort with un exchange of  popular music repertoire and the new adaptations tested out in Puisaye-Forterre within action I.

1.2 Engage the population in the development of the area's  cultural identity.

    a) Creation of a musical repertoire specially intended for children using local historical and cultural heritage.

Songs will be written from poems or referring texts of the local patrimony. These creations will be carried out by the two groups, Trio d'ocrés (France) and Lemura (Czech) with Mickael VICH ,composer, the Lemura's musicians along with  François MAGNIER, Rémi GOUSSEAU, Fredi LOTH, Guy PRINTEMPS, Vincent PAGLIARIN and Patrick BACOT (France).  A  voice et piano version will be available as well. These songs will become popular as they will be very often sung in the Activity Centers.

    b) Organizing "at home" concerts.

The repertoires specially composed  for each touristic site and the new compositions will be put forward to be broadcasted among the rural population.

This "at home" concert idea will be tried out first only in France. These concerts will be organized either at a private individual's house with friends (band is free of charge, each guest brings something to eat for a pot-luck party after the concert) or in a village. In the spirit of a multicultural exchange, besides the music, the full projet will be introduced with all the news concerning the touristic sites and the cultural events.

Then the concept will  be transfered to the Czech Lemura group.

     c) Nativity Mass « Rybova mse », Premyslides folklore.

The main idea is to transfer back in Puisaye a concept of products deeply involving the Premyslides inhabitants.

Every year before Christmas, this very well known mass  « Rybova mse », sung in Czech, is held all over the Premyslides territory.

This specific part of the Czech popular patrimony will be played in France in 2007 with all the Puisaye Forterre choirs members, the students and teachers of all the schools of music and the guest Czech soloists.

    d) Adaptations for harmony of the Czech music  to the benefit of all amateur musicians. Training of the musicians and following up of the works broadcasting.

This is a  perfect follow up with the actions described in action I about the commun projects of harmony and choirs (ex: "Fiesta cubana y poyauda" project which has welcomed a  cuban group within an action of training, broadcasting and practical exchage between amateur and professional musicians). The Czech musics will allow to keep up with the undertaken approach of the "working together spirit" raised among  all the amateur musicians of the Puisaye Forterre area.

    e) Develop the partnership with Activity Centers through dramatic arts.

In France, through the Activity Centers the trio d'ocrés will promote the new compositions repertoire. In july 2007 and july 2008 two special events will be organized with all the Activity Centers of Puisaye and the Czech Lemura group participation.

In Czech republic, both groups "Trio d'ocrés" and "Lemura" will play together these new compositions on the occasion of popular gatherings.

When both groups meet they will work together for the Cd "Le bal du roi Grenouille" practicing and recording.

Later on, these concerts might be of an interest for the  cultural centers of  France in Prague, of Czech Republic in Paris, of Burgundy and of Central Bohemia.

f) Welcoming of the territory partner's orchestras at the concerts season.

The goal is to open a wide field for broadcasters, to go further into new sensibilities and get to know better the europeen diversity. In order to keep the travel cost low, these concerts will be organized along with with other actions of cooperation (Rybova mse, Activity Centers events, working on the common repertoires, Cd recording...)

Potential french organizers : ACIT, Apéro-concerts de Toucy, Moulin de Hausse Côte, Château de Ratilly, Académie de Musique de Thury....

Czech organizers :

March 2007 : Unetice city, Rostocky Museum,  concerts-animation de l'ensemble "Mousse de Champagne".

November 2007 : probable partnership with the Slany Jazz festival and the Kravin Association (contemporary musics)

Action 2 : Development of new projects.

2.1 "Bouche à oreille": creation of a concept about dîners-concerts with artistic and culinary workshops.

This idea comes from the week-end rambles in carriage, which took place at the end of XIXth century, of  the natives of Prague who were very keen on these gourmet and musical trips to the Premyslides Taverns. This concept will be tried out in France in 2007/2008.

This new cultural and touristic concept includes a concert, a dinner, a conference or musical workshop connected to the concert, and the making of a local recipe. Traditional rural cooking values will be supervised by some of the great local characters acknowledged for their talent and creativeness like Daniel Gaspard with his "fowl in clay", Francis Boutaut with his "panful of frogs and musrhooms", Gérard Lecoeur with the "troussepinette",.... from original preserves to the bread making, from quadrille to the cumbia, so many talents in Puisaye to share with all and everyone.

The musical theme of the concert will inspire the dinners'main course.

2.2 Creation of three Cds as vehicle of communication

Three Cds will show a different action led within this cooperation. These audio suports will enhance the musical groups and the French-Czech repertoire implemented.

These communication tools are very important for the adaptation of the joint partnership of both territories in the dynamics of the european development.

The Lemura Association will take on "Le bal du roi Grenouille" Cd, which results from the cooperation between the French Trio d'ocrés and the Czech Lemura orchestras and with the French and Czech composers.

The Puisaye Forterre school of music  will produce "Aristide Lian en Bohème centrale " Cd, musique 1900 of Puisaye and central Bohemia set up by the French group "Mousse de Champagne"  and the Dvorak orchestra working together.

The Association des Amis du chantier médiéval de Guédelon will produce the Guedelon 10th anniversary's Cd, festive XIIIth century repertoire  perform by the "Obsidienne" musicians in France and by "Krless" in Czech republic.

2.3 Evolving of « Estivales en Puisaye Forterre » into a festival of european coopération.

Both territories will work together to turn "Les Estivales en Puisaye", a festival born in Puisaye thanks to Leader+ , into a festival of european cooperation. The concerts will be performed in common (association Jeunesse des arts dans l'Yonne, Puisaye Forterre school of musique, Dvorak orchestra) : choice of program, recruiting of different instrumental groups, practicing sessions in each country, composition of the orchestra for Les Estivales.

2.4 Associate  a major touristic site with the cultural dynamic of the cooperation.

Professional meeting of French-Czech carpenters  specialized in medieval architecture.

Set up of a welcoming cultural space within the major Puisaye touristic site : Guedelon fortified castle.

January 2007 : Four carpenters of Guedelon Castle spent a week in Premyslides to discover the local medieval edifices with the Czech carpenters. At the same time techniques were being compared as the Czech carpenters were building in Unetice town the future building of a popular arts show-room.

As early as may 2007, to celebrate its 10th anniversary, Guédelon castle will greet on Friday, may 25th 2007  the orchestra Krless (Czech) and Obsidienne (french) for a joint concert and a Cd will be produced.

Action 3 : Communication

3.1 Creation of a news letter.

Web site creation www.terresdart.org

The main target is to use internet for a better communication between the French and the Czech by following the projects evolvement.

3.2 Meeting with the elected representatives of both territories.

Some thirty premyslides elected representatives have been greeted for a meeting in Champignelles  in november 2006 ( this meeting has been first organized in 1989 for the local elected representatives training. Four days of a annual meeting with 2 days devoted to a better understanding of the organisation and  the actions of development lead by a european country. They have found out about the organisation arrangement of the country and they discussed further matters concerning the realization of the cooperation's objectives.

In november 2007 more than an hundred elected representatives of Puisaye Forterre will stay in the premyslides.
